Job Description: The following duties involve supervision of functions only, not personnel; and, require the use of standard occupational tools and knowledge to enable job performance:
• Develop software solutions by analyzing requirements, confirming with business users, designing, developing, installing and testing.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Programmer Analysts for eMeteors Inc. – to fill multiple openings.  Use standard occupational tools and knowledge to perform duties listed below. Analyze engineering problems to implement and improve computer systems. Develop and design custom and user controls as per the business requirements in asp.net, using C#. Create custom JavaScript components with OOPS. Apply advanced programming theory to implement business logic for various components using C#.net. Engage in version maintenance functions using Visual Studio and source control. Implement server side and client side AJAX in entire website. Participate in new product and feature development working with (but not supervising) other development teams. Develop and maintain n-tier applications with robust and scalable web architecture. Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Perform code review activities within the team on each milestone of the project. Participate in performance tuning and refactoring existing applications. Develop windows- based application using C# winforms for the operations team. Develop SQL Server Report. Write and run Nunit Test cases to follow TDD (Test Driven Development) methodology. Submit weekly reports and forecasts to report progress and anticipated future progress. May perform other assigned job duties considered normal to this occupation.

Job Title: Database Administrator
Job Description: Supervision of employees is not required to perform the following job duties.  To perform those duties, use of standard occupational tools and knowledge (including back-up and archival SW, database management system SW, metadata management SW, object or computer oriented development SW, operating system SW, and knowledge of computer HW and SW, including applications and programming) will be necessary. Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.  Coordinate changes to computer databases.  Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications. Modify existing databases and database management systems.  Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.  Specify users and user access levels for each segment of database. Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases. Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information. Perform installation, upgrade, configuration, deployment, and administration of WebSphere Commerce & Application servers and Apache and Jboss Systems and applications.  Interact with other teams and individuals, such as developers, release and end users, to diagnose and resolve problems in all environments (Integration, QA, Stress, UAT and Production).  Perform application and middleware configuration changes in all environments (Integration, QA, Stress, UAT and Production).  Deploy application code to different environments and executing queries in DB2 and MySQL databases.  Troubleshoot the issues with respect to configurations, deployment and resolving them.  Gather the requirements the project plans for each release and work with System Admins/Application Database in having File Systems, Sudos and Database ready for the installs. Provide root cause determination for enterprise-wide issues, and meet all the deadlines laid out for the System Delivery. Create and maintain configuration docs.  Provide on-call support and driving the solution in production calls when a major incident occurs.  Work under direct supervision. Accept BS with 5-yr exp as MS; primary worksite is Montville, NJ but relocation possible.  Req: Master degree in Computer Science or Technology or Chemical Engineering with 10 months experience as System Analyst or SAP Consultant. Related exp must include using SAP MDM Data.
